Portrait of Britain 2018 Entry
My entry of the British Journal of Photography 'Portrait of Britain 2018' features my Father-in-Law. A brave decision - maybe, particularly if the entry fails!
It was a great shoot as my initial idea was to try and get him looking quite serious. I should have known after 15 years of shooting portraits and headshots that trying to get a naturally happy man to look glum was never going to work. I did end up with a brilliantly happy portrait but thought I'd include the full range in the blog to show how 'serious' the shoot went.
Let's see how we both get on with the judges...
