Enviromental Portrait Photography
Shooting environmental portraits can be hugely challenging and also hugely rewarding. Trying to marry together your subject within their environment to capture both the person and the place is a great challenge.
When the Financial Times asked me to head to Yorkshire and photograph a Sales Director of a Import/Export Wholesaler I knew it would open some great opportunities. As a portrait photographer I always spend time getting to know my subject. Not only does it help relax them prior to the shoot but also helps me formulate ideas as to what I can get out of the time.
Happy with the resulting images...I like to think so!
